The Radiation Detector and Imaging Group is looking to hire a Postdoctoral research associate to work on the development of new generation of fast timing detectors based on micropattern gaseous detectors (MPGD) technologies and for application in future nuclear physics experiments and medical imaging instrumentations. As a postdoctoral research associate in the Radiation Detector and Imaging Group (RD&I) at JLab you will join the µRWELL-PICOSEC team and work under the supervision of staff members to contribute to the conception, design, construction and characterization of µRWELL-PICOSEC detector prototypes for application as fast timing devices for particle physics experiments and the development of instrumentation medical imaging field.
