What your job will look like:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to lead our integrated Environment, Safety and Health inspection efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing inspection procedures, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all program inspections, and the development of routine and custom reports to facilitate decision making. You will play a key role in upholding the quality and compliance of our programs and achieving our operational goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) inspectors, Division Safety Officers (DSO), and facility Safety Wardens in the efficient and effective execution of all assigned inspections.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain program-specific inspection procedures and checklists in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and document non-conformances, deficiencies, and areas for improvement, developing clear and actionable recommendations for corrective action.
  • Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to address identified issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, summarizing findings, observations, and recommendations, and submitting them in a timely manner.
  • Conduct data analysis and trend identification to improve program performance and identify potential risks or areas for optimization.
  • Provide training and mentoring to inspectors, ensuring thorough effective and consistent inspections.
  • Stay current on relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices for program inspection.
  • Manage and maintain inspection documentation and records in a secure and organized manner.

Qualifications We Require:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quality management, Occupational Health and Safety, Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 4 Years experience in program inspection or auditing, with a strong emphasis on integrated program review.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing inspection procedures and checklists.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough and objective inspections, identify non-conformances, and analyze root causes.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend effective solutions.
  • Leadership and team management skills to effectively lead and motivate a team of inspectors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications We Desire:

  • Board Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) Certification; Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
  • Microsoft Certification: Power Platform Fundamentals
