Are you looking for an opportunity to work with a highly skilled and motivated scientific staff on research projects and experiments within the Hall B physics program?
The Hall B physics program covers a broad range of topics, with a focus on the three-dimensional imaging of the quark structure within the nucleon, a flagship of the Jefferson Lab 12 GeV scientific program. Other topics include meson and baryon spectroscopy and structure investigations, quark-gluon interactions in nuclei, and the search for physics beyond the Standard Model such as Heavy Photons.
As a postdoctoral fellow in Hall B, you will be part of a large team of experienced scientists focusing on fundamental investigations into the nature of matter. Experiments are carried out with the CLAS12 detector and other specialized equipment within international collaborations.
