If so, consider joining Jefferson Science Associates as the Lead Project Risk Analyst. Reporting to the Project Services and Support Group Manager, the Lead Project Risk Analyst serves as an integral element of Jefferson Lab’s project management practice by developing, implementing, and continuously improving Jefferson Lab’s systems and standards for risk management in construction projects. Jefferson Lab projects involve the design, development, and deployment of advanced technologies often involving multiple suppliers, subcontractors and partners both domestic and international, Projects range in duration from months to decades and values from $100k to $500M. The Lead Project Risk Analyst supports Jefferson Lab leadership and Project Managers through the development of Risk Management Plans tailored to each project providing the timely identification, quantification, and control of project cost, schedule, and technical capability risk. The select candidate will also support portfolio of current and proposed projects and will develop a group of subordinate project risk analysts to support the Jefferson Lab project portfolio. This is a highly visible role requiring frequent interaction with Jefferson Lab leadership, Jefferson Lab scientists, engineers, and operations staff, Department of Energy personnel, project partners, subcontractors and suppliers during all phases of project execution.
