Salary Range: $71,100 - 114,400 (Staff Administrator II)
Work Location Type: Remote (working less than 60% on-site)
*The business needs for this position allow for a mainly remote work schedule. Must live within commuting distance of the Lab.

What your job will be like:
In this role you will perform Accounting related duties that are in compliance with the JLab Accounting Policies and in general with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and CAS. Perform and oversee general ledger, billing, A/R, Audit items, and other general administrative duties.

In this role you will:

  • Initiates, completes and/or overseas Department financial reports, e.g.
  • Completes month end and year end cost reports; month and year end financial closings.
  • File month end financial reports according to established records retention procedures.
  • Responsible for monthly and annual stockroom inventory reconciliation and reporting.
  • Enters, reviews, approve, oversees entries into the General Ledger.
  • Prepare / Approve invoices, statements for WFO, CRADA, & Site Office expenditures reports.
  • Research receipts, prepare vouchers and audit reports as needed.

Qualifications We Require

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience

  • 5 or more years of accounting experience
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiar with Government Contractor Regulations to ensure compliance with approval processes, expense allocation, and audit requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting practices and theory.
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communications, problems solving, calculator, and keyboard skills.
  • Ability to maintain and promote a positive attitude in a demanding work environment.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and email platforms like Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of FAR and CAS.
  • Deltek/Costpoint experience preferred.
