What your job will be like:
As a postdoctoral fellow in Hall B, you will be part of a team developing AI/ML methods for nuclear physics experiments. The opportunities to use AI/ML exist in different areas, from data acquisition to event reconstruction to physics analysis, complementing traditional algorithms to enhance performance. Experiments carried out in Hall B cover a broad range of topics, focusing on the three-dimensional imaging of the quark structure within the nucleon, meson, and baryon spectroscopy and structure investigations. This position is at the frontiers of AI/ML integration into the experimental workflow of CLAS12, participating in ground-breaking research to advance nuclear physics experiments into the age of AI.
